denigrated Dr. William Kelley's work have since sought his expertise and assistance for regaining their own health.
     A couple of weeks ago Dr. William Kelley agreed to speak to the group mentioned above. In a recent phone conversation he told Doc, "I think this will very likely be the last time I speak at a seminar."
     Such an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime, unscheduled, spur-of-the-moment opportunity could not be missed. Doc Kelley will be attending this seminar December 6th through the 10th. He will return for regular office hours on Monday the 11th of December.
     While Doc is away, if you need to make an appointment, purchase supplements or see one of the massage therapists, please call or stop by the office. Paula will be available to help you from 9 to 12 and 2 to 5 Monday through Friday.
Holiday Tips
     Holidays are always a time of increased stress for most people. The most common cause of this stress is unrealistic expectations of others and of you. Another major stressor is over consumption of foods and beverages.
     The most important tip I can make is to relax and have fun. There is nothing worth becoming angry, frustrated or stressed.
The rest of the following tips are simply common sense but can certainly help you have a healthier holiday.
     Drink plenty of pure, unchlorinated and unfluoridated water. A simple guideline is, at the very most, you can drink up to half your body weight in ounces of pure water every day. Coffee, tea, pop, commercial juices, etc. cannot replace water. Your body knows the difference. For optimal health you need pure water and plenty of it.
     We cover this topic in great detail in our classes. For now, if you do not already have one, at least buy a PUR 18 Cup Water Dispenser or an Aquasana Water Filter System you can install on your kitchen water faucet.
     Using filtered water for all your drinking and cooking needs will definitely not disappoint your taste buds. More importantly, your body will love the decreased aches and pains, weight loss, and other benefits of improving the quality and quantity of your water.
     The next tips have to do with supplements. I am often asked what I would suggest for someone to take to give him or her all the nutrients they need. It seems we all want that one magic bullet. Well, there isn't one.
     We absorb from TV and other advertising media that there is
something you can take that will totally eliminate this symptom or that one or the other one. This approach sells lots of over-the-counter and prescriptive products to millions of people but it never takes care of the original problems that caused your symptoms. Until the underlying stress is discovered and properly treated, symptoms will always return.
     We are all unique. Each of us requires different things, in different amounts, at different times. If you are having symptoms or problems of any type, call or stop by to schedule an appointment. We'll help you identify what you need to change to begin decreasing the stresses in your life. Improving your diet and your digestion are the first steps in beginning to make permanent, positive changes.
