Hello Adelle,
Sorry for the delay responding. Away for the weekend.
As you know from experiencing polymyalgia rheumatica before, it involves moderate to severe muscle achiness and stiffness. It usually involves your neck, shoulders, upper arms, thighs and hips. The symptoms are typically worse in the morning or after sitting or lying down for a while. Most importatly, polymyalgia generally goes away on its own within a year or two.
To answer your specific question: yes, polymyalgia can reoccur. If your leg aches do not resolve within a week or two, check with you doctor to see if a relapse is the cause of your discomfort. Also, make sure you are drinking plenty of pure water with no chlorine or fluorine in it. Adequate water intake often helps relieve joint and muscle aches.
Best of Health,
