Reaction to birth control?

I recently started taking the pill again after six months of being off it. The brand and prescription were switched after I had a bad reaction to what I was on before, and for the last month, everything has been normal.
About three weeks after I started taking the pill, I began a sexual relationship with a new man. We had sex with a condom the first few times, but after the pill kicked in we stopped using one. He is larger than most men I have been with, and I noticed small amounts of blood after our intercourse- only spotting, nothing too major. We are both free of STD's, so the question of whether he gave me something never crossed my mind.
Within the past week, I have had a weird sensation whenever I pee. It is a pinching feeling as if I'm going to ejaculate, and as hard as I try to relax and concentrate, nothing happens and the pinching still remains. I have also tried manual stimulation to see if that would fix the problem and it didn't. I have also started noticing what looks like blood in my urine, but it is more of a pinkish color than red. My guy friend thinks it might be some sort of reaction to my birth control since my body is sensitive to hormones, but I'm really not sure.
