I read your response and was intriqued amazed with the similarities between your symptoms and mine. I to have otosclerosis in one ear and had surgery in it in 1997. I have been having problems with the other ear; It feels constantly plugged up. I went to the ENT person today and he said my hearing is shot and he recommended hearing aids and or another stapedectomy. He also did a pressure test and said that there was no fluid in the eustation tube. He basically said that my tube has created a vaccum and it is shut. He prescribed some allegra D, singulair, and flonase to see if this helps. Did you do anything else to help your situation. Yours seems too similar to mine. If you have any ideas and or suggestions I would be gratefu. I hope you respond.
