skin problem - unable to diagnose

  1. 14 years ago

For 6 years now I've been suffering from itchy skin in the armpit and groin areas. One of the major dermatology centres in the UK failed to diagnose (!) and despite homeopathic treatment for the past 6 months nothing has changed. There is no pattern to the occurence of itchiness, I've had patch tests for clothes dyes - negative. The problem started after my first visit to a tropical climate and had my first immunisations. I have had a test for liver infection - negative. There is no rash, raised area of redness. There is no trace of fungal infection....I am now turning to the internet in the hope that someone can suggest a few routes to explore.

    Hello el machips,

I would suggest you try to locate the dermatologists online who are the MOST experienced with tropical skin diseases.

In addition search online for ANY possible skin side effects from ANY of the immunizations you received.

Please let me know what you discover.
