My daughter has had 3 surgeries with tubes in her ears. Our ENT Doctor says she was born with premature eustation tubes. She is now 8 and we may have to go back for a 4th. surgery. Im getting scared because due to all of the ear infections and surgery she has 3% permanent hearing loss. We were at her pediatricians 3 days ago for her annual check up and he told her father and I that she needs to go back to the ENT Doctor because as of right now if she didn't have all the fluid that is backed up in her ears she would need hearing aids that's how bad the fluid is right now. My question is, is there something else beside tubes that we should ask our ENT doctor about that will help to correct this 8 yr problem. I fear for my little girl that she may be deaf someday. If there is anything that you can think of before we go to see her ENT doctor please let me know. Thank you, and God Bless.
