    Hello Mary,

The length of time for the effects of drugs to leave someone's body varies greatly from person to person. Some drugs, especially hormones, are stored in fatty tissues and can persist for quite a while.

I generally suggest to my patients that it can take three to six months to see changes with nutritional therapies. Since you see the results of prescriptive medications faster, I would suspect you will begin to see less of those results faster as well.

What kind of Side Effects are still prevalent For you?
I was taking Prednisone for an Autoimmune Condition (Ankylosing Spondelysis). I was Cycling and TApering my doses, highest Dosage I went to was 40 mg (Peak), and took em for about 2-3 months on and off.
Most other side effects wore off after i stopped taking em, but I am left with White Spots on My shoulders and Upper Arms.

Doc, is there anything you can suggest to help get rid of the spots faster??

    Hi Adam,

Sorry so late to respond but just saw your post.

Your white spots may be a form of vitiligo. Try some of the remedies on this web site: .
