Type O with Stomach Acidity Problems

    Hi all

    I'm a type O that also has lots of problems with acidity and stomach upsets. I can't eat spicy food, carbonated drinks, oily foods, and need to keep it mostly bland.

    Another thing is I don't eat seafood.

    What other foods would be beneficial to lose weight and not get me so sick?

    Hello Kat Jo,

    Type O's tend to be more acidic. They eat more protein. You'll find you'll do better including lots of foods high in minerals. Sea vegetables are the highest. Dark green, leafy vegetables are also very high in minerals.

    Begin your day with a glass of water containing the juice from half a fresh lemon or lime. Drink plenty of pure, non-chlorinated, non-fluoridated, high pH (alkaline) water every day.

    Take a look at the "General Dietary Recommendations" on my web site at www.TheNaturalHealthPlace.com. Those are all good suggestions for all blood types, but especially type O.

    For immediate relief of acidity and stomach upsets try aloe vera juice. A tablespoon at a time is usually enough to settle things. If you need more at first and/or more frequently, use it as needed.

    info said to stay clear of aloe vera for type 0; however, it states to stay clear of cabbage and vinegar. I have found that organic saukerkraut found in the cold section of your grocery or health food store works with-in seconds for hearburn. Try ginger tea for nausea. If you r experiencing stomach upset often, start keeping a list of the foods you are eating. There will be a clear pattern in print with journaling, then stop eating those foods. I cannot eat any the "fresh" cooked foods from the grocery store, as I will get ill everytime!! Solution=do not eat those foods.
