hernia surgery

I suspect that a hernia condition, like so many others, can be effectively... - never say treated unless you're an md ! ;-) - DEALT WITH. Do you have any comments you'd like to share about that? My uncle just had surgery for a hernia this morning so... - Perhaps it maybe of benefit to others to try alternative approaches. ( My uncle admitted he was too lazy to try them... - AND - I'd like to add that one's belief system concerning the efficacy of any technique must have an influence.

I'd love to read any comments you might have,

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hello Mark,

As a recipient of surgery for double inguinal hernias, I can only say, "I tried everything I could for over 2 years before finally having the surgery." In my case the surgery was the only successful solution I could find.

An abdominal hernia occurs when an organ or another piece of tissue protrudes through a weakening in one of the muscle walls that enclose the abdominal cavity. The sac that bulges through the weak area may contain a piece of intestine or fatty lining of the colon (omentum) if a hernia occurs in the abdominal wall or groin. If a hernia occurs through the diaphragm, the muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen, part of the stomach may be involved.
