I am a naturopathic physician in Lincoln City and have a patient with sleep apnea. She suffers from a sleep disorder that goes along with her sleep apnea. I was interested to know if you have treated this condition with cranial sacral therapy and also if you practice a balloon treatment that aligns the facial bones. This treatment was demonstrated by a chiropractor when I was in college.

    Hi Dr. Dehler,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Was out of the office last week and just received your message.

I have never treated sleep apnea or sleep disorders per se with craniosacral therapy. You may wish to contact the Upledger Institute in Florida and ask if they can refer you to someone in this area with experience with dealing with those types of conditions with their type of craniosacral therapy. Their web site is http://www.upledger.com

Nor have I ever practiced balloon treatments for aligning facial bones. For that I use the craniosacral therapy. Western States Chiropractic College in Portland should be able to refer you to the closest expert in that technique.

Hopefully, this will be of some help. Very nice to hear from you,

    Doc Kelley
