in Dr. D'adamo's book, type O people are

suppose to avoid coconut and coconut oil.

but in this site, virgin, unprocess coconut oil

is fine. what is the reason behind this.

    can anyone explain.

    Hello Vivian,

Excellent question. Unfortunately, Dr. D'Adamo's book, like any other book, theory, or concept is NOT the end-all in health advice or information.

We have been recommending organic coconut oil (minimally refined or unrefined) for ALL of our patients for years. No one has ever had an adverse reaction to the coconut oil. For more information on the benefits of coconut oil visit www.TropicalTraditions.com. There is also significant information provided by Dr. Ray Peat. Just do an internet search for Ray Peat.

Simply stated, organic coconut oil is a medium chain fatty acid that is readily used by your body to produce energy. It is extremely good for your cardiovascular and endocrine systems. I use it with most of my patients who have thyroid gland problems and with any patient with a weight problem.

    Best of Health,
