    Hello Kim,

It is virtually impossible to list all the possibilities for numbness and loss of feeling in your lower left leg and foot as well as your left arm, fingers, and hand.

These symptoms are serious enough, however, to recommend you schedule to see a qualified neurologist for a complete diagnostic workup.

    Hello Dennis,

Somehow your message did not trigger my automatic notification.

If you are still experiencing this problem in your left arm, please see a board certified neurologist and find out what is causing your symptoms You can find the best one nearest you by asking nurses and doctors in your area who they would recommend. When you hear the same name repeated several times, you know you have the correct person.

I have numbness in my lower left leg for no reason, it feels like pins and needles but just around my knee area. Any ideas what it might be or where it is coming from. I do get lower back pain at times too but I think that is from sitting too much and at times not sitting up straight like I should. The left knee numbness is constant.

    Hello Dianne,

It is extremely difficult to offer a reliable diagnosis without being able to personally examine you.

From what you describe, however, you could have a localized knee problem, a circulation problem in your pelvis or lower left leg and/or a problem with your third and fourth lumbar vertebrae.

You need to see a chiropractic physician for a thorough history and examination. S/he will be best qualified to determine the exact cause of your problem and help you most effectively.

The best way to locate the best chiropractor near you is to call several licensed massage therapists and ask them who the best chiropractor is. When you hear the same name a few times, that's the one you want to see.

    Doc Kelley
